Dr. Warner earned degrees in zoology and anatomy from the University of California, completing postdoctoral training at the Brain Institute at UCLA. He has published mainly on hormonal control of sexual differentiation in rats, hamsters and quail, on the rat as a model for the study of cocaine addiction, and on neurochemical effects of transcranial electrostimulation.

Dr. Warner currently directs gross anatomy courses for dental students, dental hygiene students, and postdoctoral dental specialists. He contributes to teaching gross anatomy for students at McGovern Medical School, neuroscience for dental students, and biomedical science and human biology for dental students.
