The Generations Conference is a continuing dental education double-header, featuring speakers addressing some of the hottest topics in dentistry. Choose between two course options:
Gordon J. Christensen, DDS, MSD, PhD, will present “The Christensen Bottom Line – 2017,” a fast-moving, easy-to-understand course that encourages audience participation and questions while providing answers in an enjoyable and humorous way.
“Inflammation, Periodontitis and Overall Health,” presented by Salme Lavigne, RDH, MS, PhD, will cover new developments in the critical role of inflammation and its impact on oral-systemic medicine. Also included: A discussion of current research outcomes for established links between oral and systemic health, as well as newly proposed relationships.
Immediately after the conference on Friday afternoon, Dean John Valenza and the School of Dentistry’s PACE Center will host an “Alumni and Friends Ice Cream Social” in the School of Dentistry's 2nd floor lobby. Attendees will have a chance to visit with the course presenters and UTSD faculty.
