Dr. Rebeca Weisleder Urow is Associate Professor in the Department of Endodontics. Since joining the faculty of the University of Texas at Houston, she has focused her teaching and research on Diagnosis and new treatments in pulp vital therapy. She holds a professional degree in Endodontics from University of North Carolina.
After completing a post-professional degree in Endodontics, she was appointed Associate Professor in the department of Endodontics at UT School of Dentistry in Houston, TX. She has also been a Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor at the department of Endodontics at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She also held teaching positions in Mexico City at the Universidad Autonoma de Mexico as well as the Universidad Tecnologica de Mexico. Dr. Weisleder Urow has been course director of several programs in Endodontics for general practitioners in Mexico City and was in private practice for 16 years before coming to the United States. She has published papers on diagnosis as well as maturogenesis and treatment of dental abnormalities.
