Dr. Wenjian Zhang earned a DDS degree from Xian Jiaotong University, China, in 1994 and a master's degree in oral medicine from Wuhan University, China, in 1997. In 2006, she graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine with a doctorate in biomedical sciences and a certificate in oral and maxillofacial radiology. She is a diplomate of American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
Dr. Zhang has more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and abstracts to her credit and has given over 20 oral or poster presentations at national or international conferences. In 2011, she was invited to serve as an oral session chair at the IADR Annual Session.
She currently has an active NIH RO3 grant, and her research interests include:
