Dr. Magda R. AbdelFattah is a graduate of the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, Barry University with a Master of Science in Movement Science (with an emphasis in Biomechanics), and Florida Atlantic University with a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry where she earned the Clinical and Professional Excellence Award, the Academy of Dentistry International Student Leadership Award, and the Foundation of the Pierre Fauchard Academy Scholarship. Subsequent to completing her D.M.D., she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Miami, Florida. Additionally, she completed a Master of Science in Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine with the University of Southern California Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain. Her areas of focus are in the prevention, diagnosis, and non-surgical treatment of Orofacial Pain and TMJ disorders, Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
