Dr. Guzman Lopez is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. Since joining as Faculty of the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston in 2015, she has focused her teaching efforts in pre-doctoral students. She completed her Dental Degree in 2004 in Caracas – Venezuela, where she then worked in private practice for four years. Dr. Guzman Lopez completed a Preceptorship in Prosthodontics in 2009 and subsequently started her Master’s Degree in Prosthodontics at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, where she graduated in 2012. During her residency, she successfully completed her research project on Bonding Techniques to Zirconia. Then in 2015, she returned to teach at UT Health School of Dentistry, where she currently holds her position as part-time Clinical Assistant Professor.
