At every school on campus, Area Safety Liaisons (ASLs) play an important role in maintaining a safe and secure environment at UTHealth. These volunteers report safety hazards to EHS, assist during fire drills, report security concerns to UTPD, and facilitate evacuation during an emergency. ASLs are UTHealth’s eyes and ears on campus. If you’re interesting in learning more about this volunteer opportunity we invite you to attend this program. Current ASLs who were unable to attend the annual training session held in February will find this is a great opportunity to receive training and get program updates.
