School of Dentistry recognizes February holidays, awareness campaigns

UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry held several events for students and the broader dental school community across February.

In recognition of American Heart Month, the School of Dentistry community participated in National Wear Red Day on Feb. 2. Additionally, dental school members participated in The University of Texas System’s 2024 Heart Walk on Feb. 9.

In recognition of rodeo season in Houston, School of Dentistry faculty, staff, residents, and students put their best boot forward with Texas/western attire.

On the fourth floor, students enjoyed cookies, egg rolls, and traditional candies to celebrate Lunar New Year on Feb. 12, and on Feb. 26, students enjoyed candies and picked up goodies during a Black History Month Celebration.
