Attention classified employees: UCSC needs you!

The University Classified Staff Council invites all classified staff to volunteer or nominate someone to serve on the council. The deadline is May 29.

Are you willing to be a leader and represent UTHealth employees? Do you know someone who wants to become involved in the future of UTHealth? The University Classified Staff Council  is accepting nominations now through Friday, May 29. Membership requirements are as follows:

  • Full-time classified staff employee (verify at top of payroll statement)
  • Have completed the new-hire probationary period
  • Have supervisor approval
  • Willing to participate in a two-year membership term.

The UCSC is made up of full-time classified employees from each operating unit/school who are willing to represent their peers to bring about positive change at UTHealth. There is an attendance requirement for the monthly meetings. Each member serves on one of five standing committees.
