The Texas Association of Women Dentists Chapter at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry delivered 50 care packages to The Women’s Home during the holiday season.
Dental student Stacey Diep, a fourth-year TAWD representative and former chapter president, delivered the care packages Nov. 16. The packages included a toothbrush, toothpaste, and travel-sized toiletries.
“I was grateful to have the opportunity to support other women and spread some cheer during the holiday season,” said Diep. “Being able to fill the room with care packages made me proud of TAWD, and I hope that TAWD was able to provide more empowerment for the clients at The Women’s Home.
“TAWD is proud to support our community and has donated care packages to The Women’s Home for three years and look forward to more years to come.”
Since 1957, The Women’s Home mission has been to build communities that strengthen women and support families as they reclaim their stability through a unique model of care called Whole Life®.
