Basic Principles for Approaching Trauma in Primary and Permanent Dentitions

Course Synopsis: Dental trauma is a significant public health problem, from preschoolers to adolescents. Diagnosis and treatment are the most important factors for improving the outcome in every case. Suggested guidelines and established protocols help patients keep their teeth longer after trauma. These procedures will help preserve the bone structures that guide proper facial growth in children and adolescents. This course will describe the prevalence, diagnosis and treatment options for dental trauma in this population. Participants will need to bring the following for the hands-on session:
    -  Protective eye wear

Credit Hours: 076 Traumatic Injuries & Emergencies (Endodontics) - Hands-on: Hours - 3
438 Trauma in Primary/Young Teeth - Hands-on : Hours - 3
