2024 Walk to End Alzheimer’s

November 9, 2024 from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM

Description:

Join the UTHealth Houston Institute on Aging in making strides against Alzheimer’s disease during the 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer’s event.

The institute is a proud sponsor of this year’s event, slated for Saturday, Nov. 9, at University of Houston’s Lynn Eusan Park, 4800 Calhoun Road.

Join the UTHealth Houston walking team on the Alzheimer's Association website, or donate funds to the cause. The Institute on Aging aims to unite all the schools together in one team, showing the university’s role in the fight against Alzheimer’s.

The Institute on Aging believes everyone plays a crucial role in supporting those affected by Alzheimer’s disease, so it’s stepping up to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s — to show unwavering support for individuals and families impacted by this devastating condition.

Join the institute and walk together, hand in hand, to raise awareness, funds, and hope for a future free from Alzheimer’s.

The walk benefits the Alzheimer’s Association, which provides research funding to institutions like UTHealth Houston, as well as educational materials for physicians and patients.
