High school diploma or GED certificate required.

• Registered Dental Assistant Required; Must be registered with TSBDE and
have active licensure status.

Completion of accredited course in dental assisting required. Minimum one year dental assistance experience required.

Graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene.

Unrestricted license to practice Oral Hygiene in the State of Texas granted by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.

Comprehensive knowledge of oral hygiene care including the principles and practice of modern oral hygiene and the periodontal patient.
