Five UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry students were honored during the 17th Annual Humanities Graduation Banquet in late March for completing the Clinical Humanities Certificate Program.
Dental students honored included Nicole Moore, Sophia Nicolosi, Rahul Paul, Katelin Brooke Taylor, and Xin Ying Tong.
The Clinical Humanities Certificate Program encompasses the first three years of dental school training with structured programs and learning opportunities that allow students to reflect, share, and work together to enhance their individual and collective capacities to see and care for the patient. The program enables students to enrich their humanities education through participation in elective courses, lecture series, writing workshops, and production of an original scholarly work.
Paul, Nicolosi and Tong received their certificates during the program. Taylor and Moore were also recognized but banquet to attend.
