School of Dentistry in the News: October 2024

Representatives of UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry were featured in various media outlets throughout the month of October to educate audiences and be ambassadors of the school’s vision to improve oral health to improve overall health.

Along with other topics covered, faculty members spoke with the media about National Dental Hygiene Month (October) and why candy may be bad for your teeth in the lead-up to Halloween.

• Timothy Kirkpatrick, DDS, was interviewed by KHOU-TV Channel 11 to talk about the School of Dentistry’s low-cost clinics and resources for affordable dental care. – Oct. 24
