Dr. Pereira Sanchez began her educational journey at Carabobo University, Venezuela, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Fueled by her passion for dental aesthetics, she pursued a Specialization in Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry at Instituto Superior de Ciencias da Saude Egas Moniz in Portugal. In 2023, she completed her Master's degree in Dental Sciences and received a certificate in Prosthodontics, further enhancing her expertise in the field of prosthodontics.
With a strong commitment to education and knowledge sharing, Dr. Pereira Sanchez spent nine years as an Associate Professor at Carabobo University, shaping the careers of aspiring dental professionals. Seeking new opportunities to contribute to dental academia, she joined UTHealth Houston as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. Throughout her career, Dr. Pereira Sanchez's research and teaching have been focused on dental materials (color and appearance), prosthodontics and restorative dentistry.
