Dr. Dugarte earned her DDS degree from Universidad de Los Andes, Venezuela in 2003. In 2007 she completed her MSD in Prosthodontics at Universidad Central de Venezuela where she worked as a part-time faculty and in private practice until 2011. She moved to Florida, USA to pursue her Prosthodontics Certificate at NOVA Southeastern University. In 2014 she moved to Houston, Tx and she worked in private practice limited to prosthodontics for a year. In January 2017 she joined the School of Dentistry at The University of Texas in Houston as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. Her focus on teaching and research is fixed prosthodontics and implant dentistry.
