Krishna Kumar Kookal, MS, joined the Technology Services and Informatics Team at UTHealth School of Dentistry at Houston in 2014. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University in India and a master's degree in health informatics from UTHealth School of Biomedical Informatics. Before joining the School of Dentistry, he worked as a senior software engineer at KnowMED, Inc., a health care data integration and analytics company.
At UTSD, he works on various business intelligence and analytics projects and is available to assist faculty, clinical researchers, residents, students and staff in extracting, processing and making sense of health-related data for research, quality improvement, and other administrative needs.
