Dr. Ludington earned his dental degree from The University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and his certification and master’s degree from The University of Washington. He served on faculty at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Dentistry (then Dental Branch) for more than 29 years. He served as Chair, Director of Advanced Education in Endodontics, Interim Chair and Chair of the Department of Stomatology Divisions of Endodontics, Oral Pathology, Periodontics and Dental Hygiene, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Clinical Associate Professor (WOS). Dr. Ludington is US Army (retired).
During his career as an educator, Dr. Ludington received 4 Military and 18 professional honors and awards, having his name listed in the Dean’s Teaching Excellence list eleven times
