Biosketch

Dr. Nurrohman is a Clinical Associate Professor at Department of Restorative Dentistry & Prosthodontics, Vice-Chair, and Course Director of Operative Dentistry at University of Texas School of Dentistry. He is also an Adjunct Professor in Preventive and Restorative Dentistry at University of California San Francisco (UCSF).

Dr. Nurrohman holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Trisakti University of Indonesia and a Doctor of Philosophy in Dental Science from Tokyo Medical Dental University, where he received advanced clinical training in cariology and operative dentistry, focused on biomimetic bonded restorations. His postdoctoral research and teaching training at UCSF were supported by funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Dr. Nurrohman’s scholarly work is focused on the research and development of new bioactive restorative dental materials, biomimetic remineralization, and biofabrication of engineered dentin-pulp complex tissue.
