Theresa M. Dufrene, RDH, BS is an assistant clinical professor in the Dental Hygiene Program of the Department of Periodontics and Dental Hygiene at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. She practiced clinical dental hygiene for 30 years, working in family and pediatric offices.
She joined UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry in Oct 2018. She is currently serving as the Clinic Coordinator for the second dental hygiene students. Ms. Dufrene brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience after having practiced clinical dental hygiene for 20 years in family and pediatric dental offices in the Houston area.
Ms. Dufrene is dedicatedly pursuing a Master's of Science in Dental Hygiene through The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Demonstrating her commitment to continuous professional growth and advancement, she her professional activities include membership in the American Dental Education Association (ADEA), American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA), as well as the Dental Hygiene Educators of Texas (DHET).
