Biosketch
Dr. Daher A. Queiroz, DDS, MS, Ph.D., is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry.
He obtained his DDS degree in 2003 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and completed postgraduate training in Prosthodontics at the State University of Rio de Janeiro School of Dentistry in 2005. He later earned a master's degree in 2008 and a Ph.D. in 2011 from the University of Taubate in São Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Queiroz previously served as a Visiting Professor at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he engaged in research and teaching within the Division of Restorative Science and Prosthetic Dentistry. Recently, he was honored with the Dean’s Excellence Award in the Scholarship of Application for 2024 from UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry.
Dr. Queiroz is the course director of Removable Prosthodontics I and participates in several preclinical and clinical courses. Dr. Queiroz conducts research in the fields of implant dentistry, dental materials, and digital dentistry.
