Since getting his DDS degree, Moayad’s research focus has been utilizing scientific computing technologies to modernize dental practice. Moayad has started and implemented several projects using artificial intelligence to enhance the quality of preventative healthcare, diagnosis techniques, and treatments for medical and dental applications. At UTHealth, his research interests include utilizing deep neural networks and natural language processing algorithms to improve patient safety at the School of Dentistry.
