Dr. Nailah R. Tillman-Mukoro received her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Florida. She then obtained a MS in Biomedical Sciences. In 2017, Dr. Tillman-Mukoro graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry with a DDS, where she was recognized with the Division of Community Dentistry Award for Jurisprudence and Ethics. Recognizing that her passion was increasing access to care for underserved populations, she was accepted to post-doctoral residency program at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. While at Harvard, Dr. Tillman-Mukoro completed her specialty training in Dental Public Health as well as a MSc in Oral Biology and Epidemiology. She then pursued her second specialty as a resident in Pediatric Dentistry at Maimonides Medical Center.
Currently, she enjoys practicing in her private office and serving on the faculty at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. As a Clinical Assistant Professor, Dr. Tillman-Mukoro enjoys incorporating her unique skills sets working with the pediatric dental residents.
