A diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain, Dr. Martinez completed his dental degree from Javeriana University in Bogota, Colombia. After graduation, he joined a 1-year Oral Medicine Internship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. His interest in Orofacial Pain motivated him to complete the 2-year Orofacial Pain Residency Program at the University of Kentucky in 2022, serving as chief resident his second year. He became a diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain in 2023.
Dr. Martinez also maintains an active clinical practice and operates Houston TMJ Facial Pain and Sleep, a practice dedicated to the management of temporomandibular disorders, facial pain, headaches, and dental sleep medicine.
