Biosketch
Dr. Pathak’s Mission: “To Bring a Smile to the People”
Dr. Pathak was born and brought up in India and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery (B.D.S) Degree from India in 2008. Along with 1 year of dental internship, she worked part-time in dental clinic. During her Dental school, she participated in many schools’ dental education and village dental health camps. After arriving to USA in 2009, Dr. Pathak continue her dental study by successfully completing the National Dental Board exams and continuing dental education courses. Dr. Pathak graduated from the nationally renowned State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dentistry in Buffalo, NY with Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) in 2014 and successfully finished her dental licensure exam. With her passion and interest in Dental Implant-advanced technology and to help her patients by providing best dental care possible, she accepted the residency program in Restorative dentistry and prosthodontics at University of Texas School of dentistry at Houston and Graduated with Master In science in Prosthodontics Degree in 2017. During her 3 years of residency, she learned treatment planning and all aspect of Dental implant restoration (Crown, Bridge, Fixed and Removable Denture), full mouth rehabilitation cases, and conventional complete and partial denture, smile design and cosmetic veneers. She is certified in laser, nitrous and sedation dentistry.
Dr. Pathak also maintains an active clinical practice and operates Shan dental at Fulshear TX, a practice dedicated to managing comprehensive prosthodontic treatments, from single crown, bridge, to full mouth rehabilitation, complete and partial denture to dental implants supported fixed dentures.
