Hannah K. Medrano is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics and Dental Hygiene at UT Health School of Dentistry (UTSD). Her passion for education began when she was a student inspired by her instructors at the School of Dentistry where she graduated in 2011.
In 2014, She began teaching clinical hygiene at Houston Community College, John B. Coleman College for Health Sciences. She has since been dedicated to teaching students in both clinical and didactic settings, fostering an open and collaborative learning environment.
In 2020, she joined faculty at the School of Dentistry. Hannah’s dedication extends beyond teaching and clinical practice. She actively participates in state and local dental hygiene organizations. Her commitment to community service is evident through her active participation in various community outreach events. She is affiliated with the Dental Hygiene Educators of Texas (DHET), American Dental Education Association (ADEA), and the Texas Oral Health Coalition.
