Anahita Mortazavi, BSND, BSDH, RDH, MEd, is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Periodontics and Dental Hygiene at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry.
She graduated from The University of Texas School of Allied Health at Houston in 1995 with a bachelor of science in nutrition and dietetics. In 2011, she earned a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene from The University of Texas Dental Branch. She completed a master of education in curriculum and instruction from the University of Houston. She has been practicing clinical dental hygiene since 2011. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, the American Dental Education Association, the Dental Hygiene Educators of Texas, and the American Academy of Laser Dentistry.
