Dr. Yonca Korkmaz Ceyhan joined the UTSD Department of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics in 2013 as a clinical associate professor. She holds a doctorate in operative dentistry and dental materials and has been involved in teaching courses that range from dental anatomy and operative dentistry to esthetics, drawing on 13 years’ experience in teaching positions.
As an investigator, she has published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers, primarily related to dental materials, and she received the Kuraray Young Investigator Award in 2004. Dr. Ceyhan continues to be active in peer-reviewed publications, both as an author and a reviewer.
