Dr. Demian is the Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Service at Memorial Hermann Hospital where he dedicates his time for the care of urgencies such as severe infections or facial fractures.
He is a professor with tenure of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Fellow of the American Academy of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has written multiple articles published in peer reviewed journals in addition to multiple book chapters. He also has presented multiple lectures at professional meetings. His interests, in addition to treating patients of facial trauma and infections, include the following areas:
- Salivary gland diseases
- Sialo-endoscopy
- Orthognathic surgery
- Cleft lip and palate surgery
- Reconstructive oral surgery such as bone grafting and implant placement
- Dental extraction and sedation
- TMJ surgery
- Botox injection for headaches
