Biosketch
Patrick Finnerty is an accomplished e-Learning Technologist II at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry, a position he has held since 2017. His expertise in educational technology is complemented by his role as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL), where he has been teaching the “Survey of Instructional Technology” course to preservice student teachers since 2020.
Patrick’s academic journey is marked by a strong foundation in education and technology. He earned his Doctor of Education (EdD) in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2024. Prior to this, he completed a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology with a focus on Industrial-Organizational Psychology in 2018, and a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2015, all from the same institution.
Beyond his professional commitments, Patrick is deeply invested in his personal life. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, is an enthusiastic supporter of Houston sports teams, and finds joy in watching movies and playing games. These interests provide a well-rounded balance to his career, keeping him both motivated and grounded.
