Dr. Amity Gardner is assistant dean for clinical education for the predoctoral program and also serves as an assistant professor in the Department of General Practice and Dental Public Health. She joined the faculty of UTHealth School of Dentistry at Houston in 2012 after 10 years in private practice in her home state of Nevada. She is Group Practice Director for the Red Practice and continues to teach there one day a week.
Dr. Gardner serves as a WREB examiner and is responsible for administering Mock Board exams. She has completed the AAL Institute for Teaching & Learning and ADEA's Emerging Leaders program.
She also practices one-half day per week in UT Dentists, the faculty group practice.
