Biosketch
Dr. Daher A. Queiroz, DDS, MS, PhD, currently serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. He earned his DDS degree in 2003 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and completed his postgraduate training in Prosthodontics at the State University of Rio de Janeiro School of Dentistry in 2005. He later obtained his master’s degree in 2008 and his PhD in 2011 from the University of Taubaté in São Paulo, Brazil.
Dr. Queiroz has extensive experience in academic dentistry, including serving as a Visiting Professor at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he contributed to research and education in restorative and prosthetic dentistry. In 2024, he was recognized with the Dean’s Excellence Award in the Scholarship of Application at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry.
From 2022 to 2026, Dr. Queiroz served as Course Director for Removable Prosthodontics I and had been actively involved in multiple preclinical and clinical courses. In his current role, he conducts research focused on implant dentistry, dental materials, and digital dentistry.
