Biosketch
Lejini Roy is a clinical dental hygienist and clinical research professional at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. Her work spans three complementary roles: she provides clinical dental hygiene care for the Graduate Periodontics Clinic, serves as a clinician supporting clinical research activities, and works as a research coordinator.
She earned her Dental Hygiene degree from William-Rainey Harper College. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP). She went on to complete her Master of Science in Dental Hygiene (MSDH) from UTHealth School of Dentistry. During her graduate education, she received the Esther Wilkins Scholarship and the Crest + Oral-B Scholarship for Dental Hygiene Students Pursuing Academic Careers, recognizing her academic achievement and commitment to the future of dental education.
