Kyle Rogers, marketing and communications manager for UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry, has been named a 2026 University Classified Staff Council (UCSC) Spotlight Award recipient.

The award recognizes classified staff members who exemplify excellence through their dedication, professionalism, and meaningful contributions to the university community. Rogers was selected for his leadership, creativity, and commitment to advancing the mission of the School of Dentistry through strategic communications and marketing initiatives.

Since joining the PACE Center at the School of Dentistry in 2020, Rogers has led efforts to elevate the school’s visibility across the university and beyond. Through innovative campaigns, multimedia storytelling, and comprehensive communication strategies, he has highlighted the accomplishments of students, residents, faculty, staff, alumni, and programs while strengthening awareness of the school’s impact.

“Whether he’s capturing milestone events, producing compelling multimedia content, or supporting institutional initiatives, Kyle consistently goes above and beyond,” said Taressa Visor, director of the PACE Center. “His remarkable talent for telling the School of Dentistry's story in meaningful ways has made him an invaluable member of our team.”

Rogers is one of several UTHealth Houston employees recognized during the UCSC Professional Development Workshop and Spotlight Award presentation ceremony on July 17 at the Cooley University Life Center.

The UCSC Spotlight Award is among the university’s highest honors for classified staff and recognizes individuals whose work strengthens the UTHealth Houston community through service, collaboration, and excellence.
