School of Dentistry students enjoy Salutation Ice Cream Sensation
School of Dentistry students won an ice cream party for the largest representation amongst UTHealth Houston schools at the 26th Annual Salutation in September.
The Salutation Ice Cream Sensation was held Sept. 18 on the dental school’s fourth floor.
The event was hosted by the Student InterCouncil, the UTHealth Houston Office of the President, and the Office of Executive Vice President of Student Affairs.
Members of the School of Dentistry joined hundreds of new and returning UTHealth Houston students during the 26th Annual Salutation, which was held Thursday, Sept. 5, in the Denton A. Cooley, MD and Ralph C. Cooley, DDS University Life Center.
At Salutation, students learned about UTHealth Houston resources and services available to them. They took the opportunity to meet the deans and student government leaders from all the schools, as well as network with each other. All while enjoying prize giveaways, food, and beverages.
