UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry students finished second in the 2024 Dentalympics in April.

The annual competition sees students from the four Texas dental schools — Texas A&M University School of Dentistry, UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry, UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry, and the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso Woody L. Hunt School of Dental Medicine — battle for state bragging rights.
