Thank you for making Giving Day a huge success

Because of you, Giving Day was a hit this year. The UTHealth Houston community came together to improve health and well-being throughout our region and beyond.
A total of 529 friends of the university contributed $125,751 to key initiatives. People from across our schools participated in many ways. The deans, university leadership, faculty, and staff committed to matching donations, doubling the impact of many of your gifts. Students, professors, alumni, and other UTHealth Houston community members contributed to the initiatives most important to them while also spreading the word on social media, encouraging people near and far to join the cause.
Thanks to this outpouring of generosity, this year’s Giving Day will support vital research, education, and outreach efforts.
“Our UTHealth Houston community once again demonstrated their commitment to advancing health care,” said Kevin J. Foyle, MBA, CFRE, senior vice president for Development and Public Affairs. “Their gifts will join together to propel our work to save and improve lives. With support like this, the future of health care is indeed bright.”
In person events across the university were enjoyed by all who attended, with Celebration Stations across campus offering snacks and fun giveaways. Many people took selfies to share with their friends and online followers. Check out some great pictures of the festivities in the event’s photo album.
