The American Student Dental Association Chapter at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry hosted its 2025 Vendor and Career Fair, sponsored by the PACE Center, on Aug. 26.

Held in the Denton A. Cooley, MD and Ralph C. Cooley, DDS University Life Center, dental and dental hygiene students of all class years had the opportunity to interact with vendors from dental service organizations and private practices, as well as representatives of the School of Dentistry’s advanced education programs and UT Dentists.

The event aimed to foster meaningful connections and provide students with valuable exposure to a wide range of career paths as they prepare for life after dental school. By interacting directly with dental vendors and professionals, students gained insights into potential opportunities and built relationships that could shape their future careers.

“A successful, student-centered ASDA Vendor and Career Fair means connecting students to vendors that they’ll find value in, whether that be loupes vendors, residency programs, job opportunities, or the latest technology in dentistry,” said Kamile Kukleryte, events chair-elect for the UTSD Houston ASDA chapter.

The chapter successfully hosted 183 attendees and 34 vendors, including residency programs, at the Vendor and Career Fair.

As an organization centered around our students, UTSD Houston ASDA is committed to educating its members, serving the community, and supporting all aspects of organized dentistry. The chapter invites students to their upcoming Loupes Fair on Tuesday, Nov. 4, where students will be able to try on various brands and find the loupes best suited for their needs.
