Dr. Thomas A. Servos serves as chief clinical officer of the UT Dentists’ faculty practice enterprise. In his role, he oversees the clinical operations of the faculty practice, including the expansion of UT Dentists into the Houston community.
Dr. Servos earned his doctorate in dental surgery from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry in 1983 and maintained a private practice for many years in the Texas Medical Center. Dr. Servos joined UTHealth School of Dentistry at Houston in 1995 (then UT Dental Branch) and is an associate professor in the Department of General Practice and Dental Public Health.
Dr. Servos served as the first group practice clinic director of UT Dentists, which opened in 2006. He has also served as the director of patient assessment, vice-chair of the former Department of Diagnostic Sciences, interim head of radiology, and UT Dentists’ group practice director.
